Late one night I finished meditation at about three a.m. and had just laid down to rest when I was overcome by a great desire to go up on my terrace. Try as I may I couldn’t resist this need to go out. So naturally I made my way up to the roof and as I came up I saw a brilliant star shining down from the sky. It was unusually close, so close I thought I could reach up and grab it. I was so fascinated that I kept walking looking up at the star and walked straight into an iron wire mesh I had placed to protect my havan-kund- a space to hold fire rites. I tripped and fell hard and a rusted iron rod from the mesh penetrated deep into the flesh on my thigh. The whole process from getting up from my bed to falling took barely few minutes. Now when I looked up the star had receded as if its job completed and I looked complainingly up to enquire why, I was pulled out for this when I was on my way to sleep like a good girl. Of course then I realised the planet to be Saturn, the point was not lost on me the iron rod, the hurt on my leg. These were all signs of Saturn, some great karma seemed to have been worked out, I thought with relief. The deep injury miraculously healed by the morning.
